Here is a brilliant bit of software from sourceforge.net called Floats mobile agent which enables you to manage all of your personal data that you have on your mobile phone. Floats mobile agent allow you to do this in a few different ways ie by using a connection cable or by connecting via bluetooth to connect to your computer.
Floats mobile agent works allot like usual phone management systems do in the sense it allows you to go through all the files in your phone and transfer them to your computer, all files.
With Floats mobile agent you can make and receive phone calls all from your computer, the same applies to text messages too. It does say you have to have a headset and allow audio gateway but I am sure if you have a laptop you will be able to make and receive calls from your laptop with floats mobile agent as skype allows you to do this without a headset. You can save any conversations made through your computer to your hard disk using Floats mobile agent and you can also save all your text messages that are on your phone too. There is another feature on Floats mobile agent which is pretty cool, you can assign pictures to people in your phone book, when someone calls it shows a see through picture of them which looks really good, most phones have this kind of feature within them but doing it from your computer is so much easier. Floats mobile agent allow you to sync all of your phone contacts with your phone/computer, add tones to particular friends and basically do all most anything you can do on your phone in a much easier way.
There is another really great feature in Floats mobile agent, after going to the ‘tools menu’ you can take full control of your phone, you can make calls, make and send texts and here is the really clever part (You will have to be connected via Bluetooth to use this function), you can leave your phone in another place and take a photo and view it on your computer thus enabling you to spy on people in the other room, great hey?
Floats mobile agent updates its self with fresh features if available using a built-in ‘check for updates’ feature. Its does also say that if you are using a beta version of this software then you should always backup your phone database before using Floats mobile agent.
