Sony Ericsson T68/T68i Review

The only real difference between the Sony Ericsson T68 and Sony Ericsson T68I is that the Sony Ericsson T68 did not have a camera. The Sony Ericsson T68/T86i had email, a colour screen, Bluetooth and had sound abilities that supported monographic ringtones which were fast becoming the new trend. The colour screen on the T68i made you be able to save photos of friends and family as your screen saver or as your wallpaper and as the phone had MSM capabilities this meant you were able to send photos to friends via MSM or send ringtones and photos and wallpapers by Bluetooth. Predictive text was also a key feature with the Sony Ericsson T68/T68i and with all the new Sony Ericsson phones. Although the Sony Ericsson T68/T68i was feature rich Sony Ericssons T68 and T68i got ALLOT of bad reviews!! People complained about bad reception, slow loading and the phone getting mucky, bad reception and the signal cutting out seemed to be the main bugbears though. Sony Ericsson had only just started out their joint venture and this was their first phone that they were marketing to make a statement to tell everyone that they were hear, and they did!! Although this phone did get bad reviews I can honestly say as an owner of the phone that I don’t remember having any problems except the keys did get dirt in them and due to the .3 or whatever it was megapixel the phone had it was not really worth taking a picture, but were any phones worth taking pictures with back then??? Sony Ericsson definitely made a statement whatever that statement may be and certainly showed the world that Sony Ericsson where going to be a force to be reckoned with. The Sony Ericsson T68/T68i was a fairly decent phone in 2002 but now in 2009 this phone is a very poor handset indeed!
